Your privacy.

We collect as little personal data as we can. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

What we collect

• Affiliate click data. When you click a “Visit” link we record the broker, the page you were on, the referring page, your approximate country, your browser’s user-agent and a one-way hash of your IP address. We cannot reverse the hash to recover your IP address.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data (such as IP address and user-agent) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Analytics. If we enable Google Analytics 4, it will collect aggregated usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. Where required, this only runs with your consent.
• Your comparison list. The brokers you tick for comparison are stored in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your address to respond.

Why we use it

To operate and secure the site, to measure which pages are useful, to report referrals to our affiliate partners, and to respond to you. We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the site (hosting, database and analytics) and, in aggregate, affiliate partners who need referral counts. When you follow a link to a broker, that broker’s own privacy policy applies.

Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary storage needed to run the site. Analytics cookies, if used, are optional.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because our click data is hashed and not linked to your identity, we may be unable to locate it, but email us and we will help where we can.
